Why I Chose Finance Over Massage Therapy (And How It Can Help Your Family Thrive)
The Unlikely Way I Went from Massage School to Teaching Financial Freedom

When I first moved to Canada, I did what so many newcomers do: I found a path that felt safe and respectable. For me, that was massage therapy.
I went through school, graduated, and was right on the verge of taking my licensing exam to become an RMT. It seemed like the perfect plan: stable work, good pay, and a clear career path.
But something held me back.
At that moment, I realized I didn’t actually understand how money worked here. I was so focused on earning that I hadn’t thought about managing.
I looked around and saw friends and family living paycheque to paycheque, struggling with credit card debt, paying off big mortgages with no real plan for retirement. It seemed like no one had ever sat them down to teach them the rules of money in Canada.
That hit home for me. I started reading everything I could about financial literacy.
And the more I learned, the more I realized that the real need in my community wasn’t just another massage therapist. It was someone willing to help families understand their finances—and take control of them.
Why This Matters for Families Like Yours
I work with families every day who have good jobs, own homes, raise kids, and still feel like they’re falling behind.
Maybe you’ve felt that way, too.
✅ You wonder if you’re saving enough for retirement.
✅ You stress about your mortgage or high-interest debt.
✅ You think about what would happen to your family if you got sick or passed away unexpectedly.
✅ You want to protect what you’re working so hard to build.
I get it. I’ve asked myself those questions.
And that’s exactly why I chose this path.
What If There Were a Better Way?
Here’s the thing: when you learn how money really works, you can make it work for you.
That’s what I help families do.
I believe in “buy term and invest the difference”—a strategy that keeps life insurance affordable while freeing up more money for investing and building wealth.
I also help people:
✅ Consolidate debt to save on interest
✅ Explore smarter mortgage options
✅ Build a solid retirement plan—even if you feel behind
✅ Get health and income protection that actually makes sense
Most importantly, I believe in education first. Because once you understand your options, you’re empowered to choose what’s right for you.
It’s About Financial Freedom
At the end of the day, my mission is simple: to help Ontario families achieve true financial independence.
That means having a plan that’s practical, clear, and built around your goals—not a bank’s goals or an insurance company’s goals.
If you’re like many people I talk to, you don’t need a financial product shoved at you. You need someone to help you make sense of the options and show you how to make your money work harder for your family.
Ready to Take the First Step?
I offer a free, friendly conversation—no jargon, no pressure. Just a chance to talk about your goals and see what might work for you.
If you’re ready to get clarity on your finances and start building the future you really want, I’d love to help.
